The Weston: Launched in the year 1972, when television in India was still taking baby steps towards public distribution, Weston is one of the oldest TV set manufacturers in India, also the first company to have brought colour TVs to the markets here. For about two decades after that, it was the country’s top selling television brand. This ad was circulated in 1977 in Sri Lanka, when the company was on the rise and showcases a range of products made by them, including the famous CRT TVs.
