A senior Indian artist based out of Hyderabad, Vaikuntams works reflect rural essence in nature, mostly based on female and male figures, deeply reflecting his fascination by the impersonation of women characters by the male artists of the theatre groups which used to perform in his village. His works are detail oriented and deeply reflect intricacies of vibrancy and loud make ups of the women characters, capturing them as sensuous. His use of rich, primary colours in his works are meant to give a sense of character and depth to his works. The strength and power in is art emanates from the paint or charcoal, his favourite mediums, his controlled lines and fine strokes executed by him.
