Veer Munshi (b. 1955) is an internationally recognized contemporary painter and installation artist from Srinagar, Kashmir. Holding degrees from Kashmir University and the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda (1981), his powerful, surrealist compositions reflect on memory, exile, and the socio-political realities of Kashmir.
