About the Artist

Kishore Shinde (b. 1958) is a prominent Baroda-trained abstract painter who received his Diploma in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda in 1981. Fascinated by industrial imagery and the vibrancy of the streets, his canvases present a free-spirited application of heavily textured paint laden with emotive depth.
