Description
The design is an example of post Independence probably of late 60’s or 70’s when market had started interfering the traditional weaving. The upper border has the embroidery with silk on silk whereas the lower border has zari on silk. The floral motifs used were quite contemporary and having both silver and gold zari. The filling embroidery between the floral motifs is called ‘Minakari’.
