Linhof is a German company, founded in Munich in 1887 by Valentin Linhof. The company is well known for making premium roll film and large format film cameras. Today Linhof is the oldest still-producing camera manufacturer in the world after Gandolfi and Kodak stopped their production.
The classic advert featured in the Photography Annual in 1954 highlights the brand’s experience in the field of over 65 years at that time and also its fineness in camera craftsmanship.
