Hukumlal Verma

Hukum Lal Verma was born in 1970 in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. He was awarded an MFA by Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh, in 1997. Hukum Lal has a penchant for his vibrant, abstract works, with arduous brush strokes and deep connotations. Group Shows (1992-2009): Twenty group shows, including exhibitions at Visual Art Gallery (2007) and India Habitat Centre (2009), both New Delhi; Aicon Art Gallery, Palo Alto, USA (2008); and Galerie Mller & Plate, Munich, Germany (2005) Solo Shows (2001-2005): Three solo shows, in New Delhi, Bharat Bhavan and Bhopal.
